Purple Pocket Letters

Hello and welcome to All Things Beautiful! A place to share my crafty side!
Today's post is all about Pocket Letters. If you've never heard about Pocket Letters (PL), you can find more here.

Today's Pocket Letters are:  Pretty in Purple!
I had two swap partner that love purple so I created these two PL at the same time.

Some elements are the same but many are different.

I made these PL interactive, meaning I tried to incorporate as many moving pocket letter cards as I could by making and using mini greeting cards, notebooks, shaker pockets,
flap books, envelope pockets and more....

I also used my Card Candy as an embellishment on one of the Pocket Cards.

This is a flap book. I used lots of flowers and encouraging statements.

Then finally, I decorated the tops using tags with the recipients first initial, a pretty matching gem, some ribbon and a scripture tag as always.

added a Thank you card for swapping and they were done!

If you are interested in making and swapping a pocket letter you don't have to go to the lengths I di or if you want you can make it more elaborate! It is all up to you.
I hope you like my post today and find time to be creative yourself. Now it's your turn to go make something beautiful!

Nature Pocket Letter

Hello Crafty Pals! I hope your week has been productive and enjoyable! Welcome to All Things Beautiful and I hope you enjoy my post for today. Today's post is showcasing a Nature Themed Pocket Letter. Not sure what pocket letters are? You can check them out here.

For this PL (Pocket Letter), I chose various stamps, stickers, gems and embellishments to pull it all together. I also added a quote for the center pocket.

This is a flap pocket. You can lift the top and inside are various crafting goodies, cut outs, die cuts, stickers; what ever can fit inside.

I chose to add some nature themed tags.

I also included in my PL, some matching Card Candy.

Again another picture of some Card Candy embellishments that coordinate with one of the ATC cards in my PL.

I hope you enjoyed my post and check out the Pocket Letter site. I do not receive any type of endorsement for my recommendation I just have fallen in love with creating and swapping Pocket letters.

Pretty Things Pocket Letter

Hello My Friends! I hope you are all doing well. Today's post will show case a pocket letter! What's a Pocket Letter, you ask? it is the newest rage in the crafting world and you can check out all the information about Pocket Letters and the woman who created them, Jannette lane over on Pocket Letter Pals.

Anyway, I started creating them several months ago and they are so addictive! . Pocket Letters are swapped with other crafters, so my partner and I decided we would swap a Pocket Letter with a  simple "Pretty Things" theme.

I chose to make this Pocket Letter have some fun interactive elements.
As seen here with the envelope, mini greeting card, file folder and pocket flap; all filled with crafting goodies.

I also included a mini notebook that I put together and sewed the binding on my mini Janome.

I added a pocket element to the binder top of the pocket Letter that included one of my favorite scriptures, a mini tag and some ribbon.

Lastly, I included as part of the goodies I wanted to send my Pen Pal Partner some hand made Card Candy. If you are not sure what that is there are tons of examples on Pinterest but basically it is hand made paper embellishments that crafters can choose to add to their scrapbook pages, hand made greeting cards or any other paper project.

So that is it for today's post. I hope you enjoyed viewing my project.  I hope you find time to be creative today!
